Getting started with Co-Design

FREEDelivering successful projects in the community relies on building trust and engaging in a meaningful way with stakeholders and partners. Co-design is about creating with stakeholders to ensure the results meet their needs and are usable.
Join Injury Matters as Olivia O’Conner, a consultant with experience in evidence-based collaboration and consultation as she delivers this workshop on getting started with Co-design. This engaging and interactive webinar is designed to inspire ideas and allow discussion on translating theory into action. The training aims to build the capacity of health and community professionals to use Co-design principles, while overcoming barriers such as time and funding constraints.

The online workshop training aims to:
- Increased knowledge of Co-design principles and when they should be used
- Increased awareness of barriers to good Co-design and strategies to overcome these barriers
- Increased skills in applying Co-design principles in program development
- Increased confidence to use Co-design in program development and to engage Stakeholders and partners.
Who can attend?
This training is suitable for health professionals working in local government, not-for-profit/community sector, mental health, public health and regional organisations that want to improve their collaboration and engagement with Stakeholders and partners.
Online workshop access requirements
This interactive workshop will be run on the Zoom Meeting Platform and will involve being placed in a breakout room to participate in group case study reviews and discussions. To take part in this workshop you will need:
