Violence is a growing issue in Western Australia, with 17,134 hospitalisations due to assault and people aged 25 – 44 having the highest incidence of hospitalisations due to assault. Join Injury Matters and a range of professionals while we explore topics such as family and domestic violence and elder abuse, while hearing about a smoking cessation and violence prevention pilot program trialled at Royal Perth Hospital. We will hear from:
- Lisa Jones from Lifeline WA on Family and Domestic Violence
- Louise Forster from Advocare on Elder Abuse
- Holly Scott and Rachel Wixon from East Metro Health Service on the Royal Perth Hospital Violence Prevention Pilot Project.
