Alcohol and Drug Foundation’s New Community Hub

The Alcohol and Drug Foundation have launched a new online Community Hub, a one-stop shop for advice and inspiration to reduce harm from alcohol and drugs in the community. Having strong community connections and conversations around alcohol and other drugs can be an empowering way to create positive relationships and reduce harm related to alcohol and drugs within the WA community.

Community Hub is a free and informative platform where you can access evidence-based toolkits, webinars, and articles. Find information, tools, and ideas you can use to start a conversation; run a program, event, and activity in your local community; or how to provide emotional, social, and practical help to those struggling with alcohol and other drugs.

Do you want to know what other Local Drug Action Teams are achieving and get some ideas or inspiration? Community Hub has collated a range of case studies and stories of people who are making a difference around the country. You can also find handy resources to assist you in the planning and evaluation of your program.

To help reduce the 4,186+ deaths and 75,772 hospitalisations caused by alcohol and other drugs in Australia each year, click here to access the  Community Hub.

We strive to be culturally sensitive as we represent the Western Australian community in our imagery.
