New release from AIHW: Family, domestic and sexual violence data in Australia
This release brings together a range of sources to report a core set of data in an interactive format, and summarise changes in measures of family, domestic and sexual violence over time.
Australasian Road Safety Conference Regional & Rural Scholarships
Regional and rural scholarships are available to support individuals working in road safety in regional and remote WA to attend the 2022 Australasian Road Safety Conference in Christchurch New Zealand. Up to NZ$5,000 is available to support travel and accommodation expenses.

The new AIFS website provides a one-stop shop for the latest research, information and resources on issues that affect families, including violence. Access the website to learn more.
Racism. It Stops With Me campaign
The Australian Human Rights Commission launched a new iteration of the Racism. It Stops With Me campaign, calling on Australians who do not have lived experience of racism to reflect on its causes and do more to challenge it.
Your organisation can get involved in the campaign and creating public discussion by downloading the Supporter Kit, registering as a supporter of the campaign and engaging in social media activities.
PhD Scholarship Opportunities
The Collaboration for Evidence, Research and Impact in Public Health (CERIPH) have a number of injury-related PhD scholarship opportunities open for 2023. The PhD scholar will work with a range of experienced early, mid and senior researchers across a range of settings, issues and populations.

- Engaging Australian males in the prevention of violence against women and children
- COVID-19, Impacts on Family and Domestic Violence and Refugee and Migrant Communities
- Capacity building to combat harmful industries: e-cigarettes and other electronic nicotine products
- People on the move: Furthering the public health response to population mobility, migration and homelessness
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of an ethics framework for Australian health promotion practitioners
