Nominations open for the 2025 Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Awards

The 2025 Injury Matters’ Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Awards recognise individuals and organisations who are having a positive impact on preventing and reducing the impact of injury within Western Australia.

Applications for the Awards are open until Thursday April 17 2025, with nominations encouraged from the diverse injury prevention and safety promotion sector, including not-for-profit organisations, private sector, community groups, educational institutions and government bodies.

 The categories for the 2025 Awards include:

  • Outstanding Achievement in Injury Prevention or Recovery within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Outstanding Achievement by a Local Government in Injury Prevention or Recovery.
  • Outstanding Achievement in Influencing Injury Policy or Research.
  • Excellence in Injury Recovery.
  • Excellence in Injury Prevention or Safety Promotion.

Nominations are encouraged from all types of injury prevention and recovery activities, just take a look at the diversity among the past winners of an Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Award.

We encourage you to share the Injury Matters 2025 Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Awards nomination booklet with your networks to ensure all injury prevention activities having a positive impact in WA have a chance to be recognised.
